Data protection plays a particularly important role in our company. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this Data Privacy Statement.

Using our web pages is generally possible without having to indicate any personal data. If a data subject wants to make use of special services (e.g. making contact using the contact form, newsletter subscription) on our website, however, processing personal data may become necessary.

If processing personal data is required and if there is no legal basis for such processing, e.g. fulfillment of a contract or fulfillment of a legal obligation, we will principally obtain the data subject’s consent. 2.6 General information on data erasure and storage period

Your personal data will be erased or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. However, storage may be further extended if this is provided by the European or national legislature in directives, laws or other regulations to which we are subject as a company.

  1. Online marketing und digital communication with Cleverreach.

On our website and blog we use the Cleverreach marketing automation software of the CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as “Cleverreach”). Cleverreach is an integrated software solution by which we cover different aspects of our digital marketing, sales and customer relation management. Furthermore we use the tool for analytical purposes of our web offer in order to optimize it and to offer you the best possible and user-friendly service.

We use Cleverreach for:

  • registration form and contact form
  • landing pages which are used as part of an advertising campaign and contain interaction possibilities such as registration or download of white papers
  • social media linking and/or social media sharing
  • evaluating the usage of our web pages (e.g. access, pages visited, dwelling time, etc.) as well as for evaluating the usage of our newsletter (opening rate, click rate, unsubscribe, etc.)

The contents of our web pages as well as your personal data which you provide, e.g. when using our contact form or subscribing to our newsletter, are stored on the servers of our software partner Cleverreach.

Of course Cleverreach also uses “cookies” which are saved on your computer and allow us to analyze your usage of the website. The information gathered (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of the visit and pages viewed) is evaluated by Cleverreach on our behalf so that we can generate reports on the visit and the pages viewed and can therefore improve our online presence. Any information gathered by us is subject to this Data Privacy Statement. This means that any processing of personal data by certified companies in the non-European region conforms to European data protection standards.

Your personal data will exclusively be used for regular dispatch and will not be passed on to any unauthorized third parties. The data will be stored in our marketing automation tool Cleverreach for as long as the subscription is active. You always have the possibility to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. and inform us of your withdrawal. All personal data stored will immediately be deleted in the event of withdrawal of the consent to data processing and simultaneous application for erasure of data.

3.1 Analytical data and reporting

Using Cleverreach we can carry out the following analytical collections and evaluations, among other things:

  • the activity on our web pages and our blog
  • number of page views and dwelling time of the website visitor
  • click path of the respective visitor
  • downloads of files provided via the website
  • visits to landing pages
  • opening rates of e-mails from newsletters and campaigns

By using the website you declare your consent to the collection of analytical data. You can always unsubscribe from the Cleverreach tracking using the “DO NOT TRACK” button in the cookie message. 

3.2 Cleverreach logfiles

Whenever calling up websites/landing pages created using Cleverreach, Cleverreach automatically generates so-called logfiles. Among other things, the logfiles can contain the following information: IP address, browser, operating system, internet provider, pages visited, etc. The collection of data serves to optimize the pages, to ensure the security of the web pages as well as to create general statistics on the use of pages created with Cleverreach. The data collected automatically are linked with personal data stored in Cleverreach. The legal basis for the storage of the data in logfiles is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The data will be deleted after 180 days and during this period, only authenticated IT personnel of Cleverreach has access to the logfiles.

  1. Cookies

Our website makes use of so-called cookies in order to recognize repeat use of our website by the same user/internet connection subscriber. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores on your computer. They are used to improve our website and services. In most cases these are so-called “session cookies” that are deleted once you leave our website.

To an extent, however, these cookies also pass along information used to automatically recognize you. Recognition occurs through an IP address saved to the cookies. The information thereby obtained is used to improve our services and to expedite your access to the website.

The information entered when signing up, as shown in the registration form is collected and stored solely for use by our website and marketing reasons. This serves to protect us in the event a third party improperly and without your knowledge makes use of your data to sign up for our site. None of this information is transferred to third parties (other then named). Nor is any of this information matched to any information that may be collected by other components of our website.
