Join my presentation on: Generative AI in Software testing

Generative AI is rapidly transforming how software is designed, built, and tested. From test case generation and automation scripting to test data creation, exploratory testing support, and reporting, GenAI tools are already changing the daily work of testers and quality engineers. But beyond the hype, what is truly useful, what is risky, and what requires a new mindset and new skills?

What will Abbas Ahmad be discussing?

Generative AI in Software testing

Generative AI is rapidly transforming how software is designed, built, and tested. From test case generation and automation scripting to test data creation, exploratory testing support, and reporting, GenAI tools are already changing the daily work of testers and quality engineers. But beyond the hype, what is truly useful, what is risky, and what requires a new mindset and new skills?

In this session, Abbas Ahmad—President of UAESTQB and Product Owner of the ISTQB Certified Tester Generative AI (CT-GenAI) certification—shares a practitioner’s and educator’s perspective on how Generative AI can be applied in software testing in a realistic, responsible, and value-driven way. The talk will cover concrete use cases, typical pitfalls (such as hallucinations, bias, and over-trust), and the impact of GenAI on test strategy, test design, and quality assurance processes.
