She ardently champions transparent and measurable quality enhancement processes, advocating for AI-driven innovations in software testing and engineering.
AI and cost optimization have been two of the most prominent topics in the IT domain over the past few years. To reduce costs, many companies and corporations are integrating AI agents into their software development lifecycle, with a particular focus on testing—one of the most expensive phases of development. As a result, testing responsibilities are increasingly being reassigned to developers. As the Head of Quality Engineering Practice in Europe at EPAM, I face this challenge at scale. In this talk, I would share our practical experience in overcoming team resistance and addressing a lack of motivation, while simultaneously exploring innovative approaches to balance cost reduction and software quality. Join me to gain insights into how projects go through transition to AI-driven testing and empower developers in the evolving landscape of software quality engineering.
