As with most professions, AI and new technologies are re-shaping software testing in ways that were not imaginable just a decade ago. Who is May Hasan Saleem Abu-Sbeit?

With around 22 years of experience, I’m a professional Software tester and seasoned high-impact trainer. I provide software testing with value and training experiences to remember.
My experience was with companies of local, regional and international offices and with teams of various nationalities and backgrounds, and currently working with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) in Jordan.

I have tested software serving different domains and user needs, and trained people with various range of experience levels in software testing. At some point, I established a start-up company with partners based on the idea of automating test case design. It was a rich journey that taught me more about the eco system of the software testing industry in Jordan, increased my presentation skills, and enabled me to provide fresh value for my next roles.
I am an active member of JOSTQB and close to the Jordanian Software testing community, and always keeping an eye on potential cooperation, engagements or mutual value between JOSTQB and other boards/initiatives.
Volunteering has a special place in my heart, and I extend help to the software testing community and the wider Jordanian community whenever possible.

I’m interested in increasing the technical content in Arabic language on the internet, as a rich language and as an easier means to reach the wide audience of Arabic speaking professionals.
Finally, I’m curious and constantly thinking about how to keep emphasizing the human aspects of software testing as new technologies emerge.

What will May Hasan Saleem Abu-Sbeit be discussing?

Emphasizing the Humanity of Software Testing in the Age of AI & New Technologies

As with most professions, AI and new technologies are re-shaping software testing in ways that were not imaginable just a decade ago. Yet, in its essence and at its heart, Software Testing is a thoughtful human activity that serves other humans, and therefore should be human-led and human-centered.

Software Testing is actually an overall human-experience on a journey searching for real meaning, true benefit and authentic quality, assisted by new technologies instead of being led by them.

I’m happy to share some thoughts on this with you and hear what you have during this session.
