Privacy policy

This notice covers testingsummit.com. A4Q GmbH is the controller. Write to the summit address for registration, speaking, or this website, and to the company address for other A4Q matters.

What we collect

You can read the public pages without an account. If you use a form, we collect what you send us:

• Registration — name, email, country, language track, and optionally company, job title, and industry, so we can confirm your place and send the live links.
• Call for papers — name, email, country, company, job title, session title, and a short summary, so we can review the proposal and contact you.
• Contact — name, email, country, message, and optionally a phone number, so we can reply.

Each form asks you to accept this policy. The marketing checkbox is optional.

Legal bases

We process data with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), to handle a registration, proposal, or message (Art. 6 (1) (b)), where the law requires it (Art. 6 (1) (c)), or for our legitimate interest in running a secure event website (Art. 6 (1) (f)). You can withdraw consent at any time. That does not affect processing that was already lawful.

Who receives the data

Registrations go to our Mailchimp audience. Proposals and contact messages go to monday.com boards used by the A4Q team. Form submissions pass through Cloudflare. If you tick marketing, we also add you to Mailchimp. A4Q and, where relevant, summit partners working with us on the event may then email you news about the summit. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

The pages themselves are published with WordPress. They load typefaces from Google Fonts and a 3D mark from Spline. Complianz asks for cookie consent. Statistics and marketing cookies load only if you accept them in the banner.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision or the EU standard contractual clauses used by that provider.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site working. We also store your language choice and whether you have already seen the short intro on your device. You can change optional cookies at any time with “Manage consent”. The banner lists the current vendors.

How long we keep data

• Registration — until the 2027 summit and follow-up are finished, unless you stay on the mailing list or we must keep a record.
• Call for papers — for selection and, if you speak, for the programme around the event.
• Contact messages — until we have answered, and longer only if the law or a contract requires it.
• Marketing — until you unsubscribe or we close the list.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may withdraw consent.
