VISIBLE Quality: Elevating the Voice & Identity of Testers in the Age of AI

As testing transforms—driven by AI, data‑centric systems, continuous delivery, and complex ecosystems—one layer remains underserved: the leadership identity of testers themselves. This session introduces the VISIBLE Framework™ (Voice, Identity, Spotlight, Inner Work, Belief, Leverage, Elevation) as a leadership and influence roadmap for test engineers, quality advocates, automation leads and test‑architects who want more than bug‑hunting—they want impact, recognition and strategic presence.

Participants will explore how aligning their voice and professional identity with the evolving demands of quality elevates their role from “test implementer” to “strategic quality leader.”
Through real‑world case‑studies in AI‑driven test automation, cross‑discipline collaboration, and tester visibility within dev‑ops, attendees will gain tools to amplify their presence, build trust across teams, and lead quality with purpose.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply the VISIBLE Framework™ to assess how their leadership voice and identity align with modern testing roles.
  2. Identify visibility and alignment gaps—such as undefined role voice, undervalued testing identity or limited stakeholder presence—that undermine quality influence.
  3. Implement at least two practical strategies to elevate leadership presence, leverage cross‑functional trust, and align quality practice with broader organisational goals.
