Move Fast Without Breaking Trust – Balancing Lean QA and Compliance in the AI Era

In the startup world, tug-of-war is real: move quickly to deliver features, or ease up to safeguard trust and compliance. In this age of lean teams, every sprint counts, every bug hurts, and every late release can mean lost customers or even funding. That’s why AI feels like a gift. Automating test case generation, self-healing automation scripts, and creating synthetic data so small teams can move forward with speed.

However, there is a catch: moving too fast without considering compliance can backfire. Skipping rigor can damage credibility and could raise regulatory red flags.

This talk is about finding the balance. We will explore how lean QA teams can harness AI to accelerate testing, cut overhead, and achieve faster delivery, while putting in just enough guardrails to avoid bias, uphold fairness, protect privacy, and build trust with users. The audience will leave with a playbook for Lean QA – see how to harness AI for speed and coverage ~ without breaking trust in the AI era.
