The rapid rise of TMMi

Hybrid working, DevOps teams, a lot of autonomy and freedom of choice regarding tooling and frameworks. Testing is seen as a role that everyone in the team can take on, and the whole team is responsible for quality. Sounds great, right?

Yet, many companies are struggling. Tool avalanches, communication issues, problems with employee retention and cross-team collaboration. No clear vision regarding quality and testing.

In addition, laws and regulations require audit trails and traceability and there is increasing demand for security and usability testing which often remains unaddressed. A challenging environment which requires attention.

Fortunately, there is another trend! More TMMi professionals and accredited organizations are popping up all over the globe. The awareness that the challenges can be solved is growing amongst management.

The value of TMMi is being recognized, not just as a model, but rather a vision. One which can be easily implemented in an agile and DevOps environment and has long outgrown its waterfall association.

Over the years in 2023 & 2024 there has been significant growth in the number of organizations investing in TMMi as well as the number of certified TMMi professionals. Organizations

In this talk TMMi and it’s rapid rise will be explained. Real world case studies and the latest developments will be the key takeaways.
